The trade-offs are worth naming. This is a paid product, not a free chat front-end, and the value proposition depends on whether the surrounding surfaces — sheets, code, Arena — actually match how you work. If you use AI purely for conversational writing, a single-model tool will feel lighter. There is also a learning curve in a workspace that does several things at once, compared with a bare chat box. Verschat makes most sense for people who use AI as a production tool rather than a novelty: analysts building tables, developers iterating on snippets, researchers who need cited answers, and anyone who has been paying for two or three model subscriptions and wants them in one interface where they can be compared directly.
