OCRStack is a practical answer to a boring recurring problem: the text you need is locked inside a scan, a photo, an invoice or a PDF table. It runs entirely in the browser, lets you choose between OCR models depending on the document, shows you the recognized content for review before you commit to it, and exports the result to Word, TXT or Markdown from the same workspace. That review step matters more than the model selection — OCR always makes mistakes on low-contrast scans, handwriting and dense tables, and being able to correct them in place is the difference between a usable workflow and a file you have to retype anyway. Markdown export in particular suits anyone feeding documents into notes apps or AI tools downstream. It is deliberately narrow: this is extraction and export, not document management, approval workflows or accounting integrations, so invoices still have to land somewhere else afterwards. Freemium pricing means you can test it against your own worst scan before deciding. For freelancers, bookkeepers, students and anyone digitizing paper in small batches, it covers the whole job in one tab.
