Mappit is a live, time-aware map of Earth where AI agents continuously sweep the world's cities and pin what's happening onto an interactive globe. Instead of scrolling through fragmented news feeds, you see the zeitgeist as it unfolds — trending stories are scoped globally, to your current map viewport, or to specific locations you subscribe to, so you get relevant signal without the noise. Subscribing users can drop their own custom pins with images, multimedia, and event details to create shareable memories or highlight local happenings. A built-in Marco chatbot lets you ask questions about anything on the map, a time slider lets you scrub backward and forward through recent activity, and optional overlays add rich context: S&P 500 movements, Today in History, wildfires, earthquakes, air quality, and public sentiment blooms. It's an experimental, genuinely novel take on daily discovery — part live-news map, part social pinboard, part personal dashboard — and it's freemium, so anyone can explore the world in real time before upgrading for deeper subscriptions and custom pinning.
